The board member said July 3 that he didn’t think his constituent’s FOIA request was handled in a business-like manner.
While a county employee by law doesn’t have to be an appointed FOIA officer to respond to a request, he said more workers will be taking the one-hour training class. “This is what I was asking for and I believe it will be done,” he said.
